Or needs to.’* ~ Mark Twain 1835-1910 ~ Animal dramatics is owned by Jackie Rowberry, who has been involved in the film and T.V. industry, ever since 1979 when she left school to work for a major horse supplier to the industry. Once there she found herself on some of the most famous sets of the time. At just 15, a delighted Jackie was meeting famous people that she had only ever seen on the television, added to that she was doing the thing she loved most, working with horses, what's more, there are no lines to learn & she just had to be herself. Young Jackie found herself travelling around the country doing a job that you could only ever dream of and being paid for it, it was heaven! Jackie with Pauline the Parot, Tilly & a young lamb. After a number of years Jackie acquired a particularly valuable guidance from her boss. Due to her sheer love of animals she learnt quick, she was a natural. Then her boss announced he was to retire. It was at this point, with her positive approach & business acumen, that she decided to set up Animal Dramatics. Having always been around animals, coming from a farming stock, having a grandfather who was a harness maker and a grandmother who was a dairy maid, it was the obvious thing to do. Since Animal Dramatics was born she has never looked back. It is a busy way of life, the telephone is always ringing with lots of demands and many scripts to read, no holidays but she loves it. Jackie has 25 years experience in the film industry and has been involved in a lot of quite amazing and comical stuff! She has met hundreds of talented people and supplied a substantial amount of animals for a whole list of famous Films, Productions, TV, Commercials etc and along the way has made many good friends.
