Animal dramatics is owned by Jackie Rowberry, who has been involved in the film and T.V. industry, ever since 1979 when she left school to work for a major horse supplier to the industry. Once there she found herself on some of the most famous sets of the time. At just 15, a delighted Jackie was meeting famous people that she had only ever seen on the television, added to that she was doing the thing she loved most, working with horses, what’s more, there are no lines to learn & she just had to be herself. Young Jackie found herself travelling around the country doing a job that you could only ever dream of and being paid for it, it was heaven!

After a number of years Jackie acquired a particularly valuable guidance from her boss. Due to her sheer love of animals she learnt quick, she was a natural. Then her boss announced he was to retire. It was at this point, with her positive approach & business acumen, that she decided to set up Animal Dramatics.

Animal Dramatics, the home of the famous film and TV animals, is based in the heart of the beautiful Berkshire countryside situated 1 hour from London close to the M4 and M3 motorways. We are only 1 hour from the Severn Bridge and can be in the West Country in just a couple of hours. We can arrange first class overnight accommodation with top class restaurants offering fine wines, all within 1 mile from us.

Our home is a beautiful cottage part of which dates back to the 18th century, we are surrounded by paddocks and woodland with a full size riding arena, a traditional stable yard and traditional animal housing, including a row of keeper kennels, ducks on a pond plus a large selection of animals on site, all within 1 hour from London. We can provide the perfect location for Photo Shoots, Television, Film work and Commercials.

We have bed & breakfast facilities with a large garden area around the pond where you can sit and enjoy your breakfast or lunch. If needed, we can arrange caterers for lunches and teas etc. There is ample parking for a complete unit with whatever animals are required to hand to make your shoot special. Here at animal dramatics we are open 365 days of the year, not just for the film industry but we are also available for Fêtes, Weddings, Children's Parties, Easter, Christmas and schools, in fact any event you wish to request. We even supply animals for private celebrity parties and weddings. We have 2 horse drawn sleighs, both available for Christmas functions pulled by our white ponies ready to deliver Father Christmas to his grotto. One of our sleighs you may recognise as the sleigh from the Harry Potter film, this is available for weddings, Father Christmas delivery or simply available for that special photo shoot whatever the occasion. We have ponies, donkeys, white doves and a selection of farmyard pets, in fact you may have seen our white doves sitting on Vanessa Mays violin, (white bird) or in Robbie Williams hand during the filming of (Angels) or simply walking down the cat walk at the London fashion week. We even have a pony smaller than a dog.
